In this episode of HubSpot To Go I’ll discuss the CRM product updates from INBOUND 2015. Listen below.
After struggling with the sequences tool yesterday, I found that there were solutions to many of the problems I had found. They just weren’t staring me right in the face. That is, until I received this email:
My name is Matt, I’m the product manager for Sidekick for Business.
I stumbled across your podcast, seems like some awesome stuff. However in your podcast on Sequences, you were a bit off.
First, and most importantly, you can totally unenroll a contact from a Sequence manually. The feature just doesn’t work if you can’t. You can do so in both places that you send Sequences from – your CRM and GMail. Here is an example of each:
Secondly, you mentioned that emails from Sequences [do not appear] in the HubSpot timeline, although they do. If you have your Sidekick Activity filter turned on, you can see the emails being sent and tracked through Sidekick in the timeline. We also have a Sequences section of the contact record (see GIF above) of what’s been scheduled and what’s been sent.
I’m happy to hop on the podcast and talk with you about Sequences if you’d like so we can make sure that you’ve got all of the information you need to keep delighting your listeners.
